5 Minutes: Review Writing Process

So far, we have learned how to pre-write: complete a quick-write, outline, and how to complete a rough/1st draft.

Now, we will learn how to revise your draft to ensure it is effectively organized and supported by the text.

Reviewing the Writing Process:

We are currently on the REVISING stage but you will still want to EDIT your writing with the rubric before submitting to Google Drive.

During the REVISING stage of the Writing Process, you will need to insert:

appropriate paragraph hooks
paragraph transitions
MLA style in-text citations of research-readings (readings you find for your topic) and shared-readings (readings the instructor provides)
context-based vocabulary
unified and coherent sentences and paragraphs with organizational structure
