Analytical & Critical Reading
This course is designed to flow as a self-paced workshop which integrates critical reading and transformative writing skills to support learners with comprehending college-texts, effectively.
In order to develop personal reading skills and a high capacity to understand and create complex, yet, organized forms of literature, learners will be guided on how to implement reading strategies to critically analyze the use of grammar, punctuation, organization, and vocabulary within correlating theory, art, articles, book excerpts, digital media, visual culture displays, and other forms of literature.
Expected learning outcomes include the ability to critically respond to literature through academic discourse sessions, art-making, and writing.
